Description: This amazing three patch Penguins Stanley Cup Finals jersey was worn by Tom Barrasso while leading the Penguins to their second straight Stanley Cup. The jersey shows nice wear with plenty of distinct puck marks visible. The Stanley Cup Finals patch is sewn on a piece of fabric which is sewn on the jersey over the NHL 75th anniversary patch. Like all Barrasso jerseys, the fight strap has been cut out. According to Casey Samuelson’s extensive research, the Penguins wore their set three jerseys starting with Game 6 in the first round against the Capitals, in 3 games against the Rangers, in 2 games against the Bruins, and the two home games against the Blackhawks in the Stanley Cup Finals en route to sweeping the Hawks. The jersey shows nice pilling at the neck, solid wear throughout, and the puck mark to left of the crest can be matched to the photo of Barrasso wearing the jersey in the Finals and video starting with the Rangers series (Thank you Rob P.). Penguins three patch jerseys from their Stanley Cup Season are scarce, and those worn in the Finals are some of the nicest and rarest Penguins jerseys.
