In celebration of the league’s 75th anniversary, the players wore a throwback All Star Game jersey. Typical light All Star Game use exists on this size 54 Goalie sweater. Roy represented the Montreal Canadiens in this, the 43rd NHL All Star Game. Roy was voted the Wales Conference starting goaltender by the fans. The 1991-92 season was an epic one for Roy. Patrick led the NHL in GAA and shutouts and was named 1st Team NHL All Star. He was the runner-up for the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP, won the William M. Jennings Trophy as well as the final Vezina Trophy of his illustrious career. Roy and Chelios spent 6 seasons as teammates during their Hall of Fame careers on the Montreal Canadiens preceding this All Star classic.
