Description: This outstanding Brodeur jersey is from his first Stanley Cup victory when the Devils stunned the Red Wings, sweeping the series. This jersey, sourced from Marty's family, shows great wear and is photo matched to both road games in the Finals. The jersey shows great wear, certainly more than just the two Stanley Cup games. There are panels added to the sides and sleeves to make the jersey larger. There are two repairs, one long one by the hem and another on the puck mark that bleeds off the crest. With the use on this jersey it was likely worn throughout their entire playoff run, if not longer.
Based on the set stamp, I decided to look into the 1993-94 season, and this jersey is also photo matched to the 1994 playoffs, including Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals when Matteau scores in the double OT to send the Rangers to the Stanley Cup!
