Description from SCP Auctions: Featured here is Kirk McLean's Vancouver Canucks game-worn uniform from the 1993-94 season, including the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals vs. the New York Rangers. The Canadian goaltender had an outstanding post-season with 2.29 GAA and a 15-9 record, just one win away from the cup as the Rangers prevailed 4 games to 3 in the Finals. McLean spent 10 1/2 seasons in Vancouver and established himself as one of the leagues premier goaltenders in the early 1990's.
Let's start with the McLean home white '94 Cup jersey with the large 90's era Canucks logo patch on the front and 'MCLEAN' in black on the back. His no. '1' appears in black tackle twill with yellow and red piping on the back and each sleeve. The 1994 Stanley Cup Championship patch sits over the right chest. The 'Canuck Place' patch is in its customary place on the right shoulder and the '2 Pts. F.G.' patch in memory of late team owner Frank Griffiths has been relocated from the right breast to the left shoulder to make way for the finals patch. Maska Ultrafil and size 56 flag tags remain in the neck. It shows great wear, with paint transfers and contact marks throughout but mostly on the sleeves, shoulder and back areas.
The distinct angled crease below the Canucks Palace patch on the right shoulder appears to match up perfectly with the first photo below of the jersey in action after the Canucks won game 6.
