Description: This great NWHL league jersey was worn by Julie Herr. As my daughters are growing up and starting to play hockey, they’ve started asking why the players they see on TV are all men/boys. The NWHL has provided a great inspiration for them, seeing women play at such a high level. The Riveters jerseys also have a personal connection, as my girls love the book Rosie Revere Engineer, which is a great story of a creative but shy young girl that challenges preconceived gender roles. This jerseys shows light wear but means a lot to me and my daughters.
