Description: Historic heavy knit worn by Hall-of-Fame goaltender Johnny Bower during his short stint with the Barons right before joining the Leafs. Bower's number 1” sits on the back and again on the chest below "Barons" in individually attached letters. Tagged in the collar by the Cleveland Sporting Goods Company with a size 46 fly tag and the original lace in the neck. Cuffs have been opened up and there are a number of non-repaired holes. Mr. Bower has signed the shirt on the inside behind the numbers. From the collection of noted AHL historian Ira Rubinstein.
I've recently photo matched it to their team photo from this season. The spacing of the should stripes is unique on each shoulder and matches up perfectly to the team photo.
